Specialist in Endodontics
Michael qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, University of London in 1987. After working in one of the teaching hospitals in
London, Michael worked in the oral surgery department of Gloucester Royal Hospital for two years.
He successfully completed the Master of Science degree in Endodontics from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1991 and has been in referral practice in Worthing, West Sussex ever since.
Michael was admitted by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Endodontics (Registration No. 62048), one of the few dental surgeons deemed to have sufficient experience and training to be admitted onto the newly formed specialist register.
Michael regularly travels to the U.S.A. for post-graduate courses as well as attending similar courses held in the UK. He is a member of the British Endodontic Society and the American Association of Endodontists.
He lectures extensively in the UK on all aspects of Endodontics.
Michael is happily married with three children and two dogs. In his spare time, Mike enjoys his vegetable plot and outdoor life.
He started to learn the piano in 2014 and in April 2023 passed his grade 6. and is now studing for grade 7!
He began learning the saxophone in 2016 and is currently studying for his grade 6.
Specialist in Endodontics
Alan graduated in Dentistry from Birmingham University in 2005, (Registration number 85542 with the General Dental Council ). After a couple of years in general practice he took up a number of hospital posts in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Units. At this time, he passed the membership examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Alan then returned to general practice where he developed his interest in Endodontics, which led him to undertake his specialist training in
Endodontics at Guy’s Dental Hospital, which he passed with a distinction and was entered onto the GDC specialist list in 2018. Alan enjoys all
aspects of endodontic treatment and working with referring dentists to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes for the patient.

Angela is our receptionist and is also a specialist endodontic dental nurse.
